Factors to Consider::

What are the Factors that determine a good horse:

At the sales our team inspect the horses putting a huge emphasis on conformation, "Conformation is a term used to describe how a horse is constructed or put together", e.g.

  • correct alignment of limbs
  • good density of bone
  • a well developed upper body
  • good width between jaws to allow air flow
  • an attractive head
  • and good movement during walk and trot.

If the horse fulfills the aforementioned criteria it decreases the possibility of injury during training and racing.

Short List:

We will make a short list to suit the specific requirements of the client. We advise all our clients to have their prospective purchase vetted before bidding commences. This will allow the Vet to determine whether the horse is a fit subject for purchase.
