Geordie Iris won her first start impressively on Friday evening at Jagersro in Sweden for owner William Drew and trainer Wido Neuroth. Geordie Iris was privately purchased by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd on behalf of William Drew from the Richard Hannon stable recently to target the Scandanavian Classics during the summer. Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock also purchased Geordie Iris as a two year old for €30,000 at the Arqana Breeze Up Sale in 2010 and she went on to win four races under the care of Champion Trainer Richard Hannon.
