Amberley Heights won the 1st race for her owner Ms Elaine Chivers at Newbury today and was purchased at Tattersalls October Yearling Sales in 2011 for 37,000gns by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd. Montiridge won the 2nd race for his winning connections Mr M Clarke, Mr J Jeffries, Mr R Ambrose & Mr B Reilly and he was purchased by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd at Doncaster Premier Yearling Sale in 2011 for 55,000 stg. Master of War went on to complete the hatrick of wins for current champion trainer Richard Hannon and owner Mohamad Al Shahi. Master of War was purchased at Tattersalls December Foals Sales in 2010 for 28,000 gns.
