Spanish Arch won his maiden point to point at Ballydarragh yesterday under a determined Jamie Codd, it was Codd's first winner since returning from a broken leg. This five year old gelding by Westerner was having his second start for Wexford handler William Codd, the trainer continues his impressive stike rate with his young horses. Spanish Arch was purchased for connections by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd in 2008.

He now heads to the DBS Sale at Newbury on the 3rd of March, 2012.
