Trumpet Major was an impressive winner on his first start this season winning the Group 2 Bet365 Mile at Sandown. Trumpet Major continues to be a great servant for his owner John Manley, trainer Richard Hannon and jockey Richard Hughes and he is sure to have some big starts this season. Trumpet Major was purchased by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd for €20,000 at Tattersalls Ireland Yearling Sales in 2010.
