Kasimir won impressively in the Grade 2 Cape Merchants Stakes in Kenilworth in South Africa on Saturday for his owners W P Drew & B Kantor Et Al,trainer Justin Snaith and jockey Richard Fourie. The son of Captain Al was having his fourth career start. Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd purchased Kasimir at the Cape Premier Yearling Sale in 2016.
