Ginger Nut won the 2 Year Old Weatherbys Super Sprint by a neck on Saturday at Newbury for her owner Mrs J K Powell, trainer Richard Hannon and jockey Harry Bentley. The daughter of Sir Prancealot made headway two furlongs out and quickened nicely to take the lead entering the final half-furlong to win the valuable £250,000 prize. Ginger Nut managed to gain Richard Hannon their ninth success in the race.Ginger Nut was purchased by Peter and Ross Doyle Bloodstock for £23,000 at Goffs UK Silver Yearling Sale in 2017 from Alice Fitzgerald.
