The son of Arakan cost €20,000 as a yearling at last years Tattersalls Ireland September sale and becomes the second best son of Arakan ever in training behind Dick Turpin also purchased by the agency for the same connections. Bronterre looked very classy at Goodwood on Saturday taking the Listed race by 5 lengths under a hands and heels ride from Pat Dobbs and he holds an entry in the Dewhurst Group 1 in the near future for owner Micheal Pescod.
