Scarface won the first of the double with a gutsy performance at Sandown on Saturday for his owners Mr Kevin Leggett and Susan and John Waterworth, trainer Joe Tizzard and jockey Brendan Powell. The son of Milan was purchased by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd at Goffs Landrover National Hunt Sale in August 2020 for €62,000 from Baroda Stud.

Rose of Arcadia won the second race at Sandown on Saturday for her owner Geoff Nicholas, trainer Joe Tizzard and jockey Brendan Powell. Rose of Arcadia was purchased by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd at Tattersalls Cheltenham December Sale in 2019 for £170,000 from Ballyvic Stables.
