A nice Double yesterday evening in Lingfield for owner Martin Hughes, trainer Richard Hannon and Sean Levey. BREAKFAST CLUB won smartly on his racecourse debut over five furlongs. The son of Cable Bay showed plenty of speed and will come on for the experience.Breakfast Club was purchased as a 2 year old for £200,000 at the Goffs UK Breeze-Up Sale from Mocklershill in 2019.

MORDRED quickly followed this up with a snug win in the 1m4f Betway Handicap. This four year old colt by Camelot has done really well over the winter and never looked in any doubt throughout the race. Stepping up in trip he travelled strongly behind the leaders before being unleashed in the straight to take up the running inside the last half furlong to win by a cosy 1 1/4 lengths. The son of Camelot was purchased as yearling for 175,000Gns at the Tattersalls October YearlingSale Book 1 from Lynn Lodge Stud Stud in 2017.
