Bronze Angel won the hugely valuable closing Balmoral Handicap on Champions Day at Ascot on Saturday for trainer Marcus Tregoning, winning owner Lady Tennant and jockey Louis Steward. Bronze Angel took his earnings past £415,000 with a fluent success that was never in doubt from the moment he galloped into the lead a furlong out. Bronze Angel was purchased by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock at Doncaster Premier Yearling Sale for £42,000 in 2010.
