Eqtiraan won the Listed Cathedral Stakes at Salisbury yesterday ofr his owner Hamdan Al Maktoum, trainer Richard Hannon & jockey Jim Crowley. Eqtiraan was produced inside the final furlong to win by a neck, extending the Hannon family’s excellent record in the race. This was the sixth occasion in the past ten years that either Richard Hannon or his father have won the Listed prize. Eqtiraan was purchased by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd at Tattersalls December Foal Sales in 2014 from Victor Stud.
