Event Details
Tattersalls Ireland Winter Flat and National Hunt Sale will consist of Flat and National Hunt Foals and Yearlings. Formerly known as the February National Hunt Sale, the new sale title reflects the addition of flat yearlings to the sale. The sale will continue to offer National Hunt yearlings, but the addition of flat yearlings creates new opportunities for both our vendors and purchasers.
The 2026 catalogue features yearlings from the family of recent Grade 1 winner Skylight Hustle and Grade 2 winner Kazansky, while the progeny of black type mares Candy Creek, Sassy Diva and Cashelard Lady are also catalogued.
Highest prices achieved in recent years include €85,000, €80,000, €70,000 and €62,000. A son of Walk In The Park, from the family of 10-time Grade 1 winner Envoi Allen, was the highest priced lot at the 2025 edition of the sale.
Among the high profile graduates from the sale are dual Grade 1 winner Champ Kiely, the Galway Plate and Grade 2 winner Western Fold, and the American Champion Hurdle winner Coutach. In recent weeks there have been impressive performances from improving novice chasers Barlovento and Calimystic, while Bentraghhill has emerged as a Cheltenham Bumper contender after a smart performance on debut at Leopardstown.

Event Details
The Tattersalls Ireland Breeze Up Sale is firmly established as a leading sale of it’s type. The sale is held over two days in late May, with the horses breezing at Fairyhouse Racecourse and afterwards making the short journey across to the Tattersalls Ireland sales complex. A huge advantage for vendors is the time saving and efficiency in moving between both venues, while purchasers have stated that the close proximity of both venues allows for viewing the breeze and conducting inspections to be done in a timely manner.
The 2025 edition produced a clearance rate of 88%, combined with a new record top price, record average and record median. These statistics showcase the heightened demand for two-year-olds from this sale, which was the best performing European Breeze Up Sale in 2025.
On the racecourse the sale has proven itself as a reliable source of Stakes performers. Among the graduates of 2025 were the Group 2 Lowther Stakes runner up America Queen, while Nobody Knows looks a colt of immense promise and holds entries in the Tattersalls Irish 2,000 Guineas and Irish Derby.
Other graduates of note include Group 3 Anglesey Stakes winner Kairyu, Group 1 Irish Oaks third Purple Lily, and Group 3 Round Tower Stakes winner Letsbefrankaboutit.

Event Details
Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale, held in partnership with MSL Mercedes-Benz is recognised as the Ireland’s Premier Store Sale, and is renowned for being the leading source of Grade 1 winners. To maintain that long held view, the emphasis when selecting our stores is on quality. As a select sale, our inspectors handpick the best individuals with pedigrees to match, resulting in a catalogue that makes it distinctive from other Store sale catalogues. Since it’s inception in 1974, the Derby Sale has produced the top priced Store sold anywhere, while regularly producing the highest average and median.
The spring festivals at the Dublin Racing Festival, Cheltenham, Aintree and Punchestown saw Derby Sale graduates dominate and all four festivals saw more Grade 1 winning graduates succeed than any other Store sale.
The 2024/25 National Hunt season produced memorable performances from graduates, with Kopek Des Bordes and Final Demand emerging as leading novice hurdlers. Elsehwere, Jonbon added three more Grade 1s, while Brighterdaysahead won back-to-back Grade 1s during the first half of the season.
All horses catalogued and offered at the 2026 Derby Sale are eligible for the Tattersalls Ireland MSL Mercedes-Benz Sales Bumper, which will be run at the Leopardstown Christmas Festival on December 28th 2027. The vendor of the winning horse will drive away in a brand-new Mercedes-Benz GLC. The MSL Mercedes-Benz Sales Bumper also allows three-year-olds sold 18 months earlier as two-year-olds at the Derby Sale the opportunity to participate.
