He’zanarab got the week off to a good start on Monday the eve before Royal Ascot. Making his debut for owners Douglas Pryde and James Fyffe, trainer Richard Hannon and jockey Sean Levey, he settled towards the rear of the field before coming through on the rail to win going away by a length and a half. He looks sure to improve off the back of this run and will be a nice horse over a bit further in the latter end of the season. The son of Footstepsinthesand was purchased by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd for £30,000 at the Goffs UK Premier Sale in 2017 from Trickledown Stud.
