Japan won the Group 1 Juddmonte International Stakes at York today in a thrilling finish for his owners Mrs John Magnier, Michael Tabor & Derrick Smith, trainer A P O’Brien and jockey Ryan Moore. Japan will now be aimed at the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe in October. Japan was purchased by M V Magnier/Mayfair/Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock at Tattersalls October Yearling Sales Book 1, 2017 for 1,300,000Gns from Newsells Park Stud.
