Lostintranslation has been loving retired life. Roddy Stanning took on the 11-year-old after his retirement from Colin and Joe Tizzard’s stable last winter and has quietly introduced him to a different way of life in hunting and team chasing and ended up winning the Yeomanry Ride last weekend. Lostintranslation has had some amazing and memorable days out, Especially winning his four graded races, Cheltenham Grade 2 Chase, Aintree Grade 1 Chase, Betfair Grade 1 Chase, Ascot Grade 2 Chase and 3rd in the Cheltenham Gold Cup. The son of Flemensfirth was purchased by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd at Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sales in 2015 for €38,000 from Derrygrath Stud.

😍 “He’s just a legend, really laid back about everything and nothing overwhelms him. I mean, anyone could ride him. Just steer a bit and don’t fall off!”
