Lyric Ace was a very easy winner of the two year old maiden at Leicester today and picked up a £10,000 yearling bonus in the process. As you would expect from a Richard Hannon juvenile he improved a great deal from his first run and showed a very professional attitude to put the race to bed in a matter of strides to win by an eased down five lengths. It capped a good few days for his connections Byerley Thoroughbred Racing after Kid Suitor won on Wednesday in eye catching fashion at Kempton. Lyric Ace was purchased by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd for £23,000 at the DBS Premier Yearling Sale 2011.
