Magna Grecia won the Group 1 Futurity Trophy Stakes at Doncaster on Saturday by a head for his owners Smith/Magnier/Tabor/Flaxman Stables, trainer A P O’Brien and jockey Donnacha O’Brien. Magna Grecia is a horse to look forward to next season and 2,000 Guineas will be the race to target. Magna Grecia was purchased by M V Magnier/Mayfair/Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock at Tattersalls December Foal Sales in 2016 for 340,000Gns from Norelands Stud.
