Olympic Glory won his third career Group 1 in emphatic style at Newbury on Saturday taking his earnings well through the one million pound barrier. The Al Shaqab Racing owned colt won the JTL Lockinge Stakes for trainer Richard Hannon and jockey Frankie Dettori. Olympic Glory was originally purchased on behalf of Julie Wood by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock at the DBS Premier Yearling for £65,000 in 2011. Olympic Glory follows on from Canford Cliffs and Paco Boy who also won the Lockinge Stakes.
