Olympic Glory struck gold in the 32Red.com Superlative Stakes (Group 2) at Newmarket today for owner Julie Wood, Champion trainer Richard Hannon and jockey Richard Hughes. The very well named colt always travelled well throughout the race on very testing ground conditions and put the race to bed in the final furlong when Hughes kicked for home and the colt responded very well. It looks like he may head to the glorious Goodwood meeting next with plenty of other options open to him later in the season in the top juvenile races. Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd purchased Olympic Glory for £65,000 at the DBS Premier Yearling Sale 2011.
