The Paddocks was an impressive debutant winner on Friday for his Owners Jared Sullivan and Merribelle Irish Farm Ltd, trainer Richard Hannon and jockey Tom Marquand. The Paddocks by first season sire Charm Spirit put the race to bed in good style and may now head for Royal Ascot and is an exciting prospect this season. The Paddocks was purchased by Peter and Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd at Arqana August Yearling Sales in 2017 for €120,000 from Haras Des Monceaux.
