Beaufort West won the Novices Hurdle in good style at Fontwell on Sunday for his owners Taylor & O’Dwyer, trainer Colin Tizzard and jockey Jonjo O’Neill Jr. Beaufort West looks a nice prospect for the season, he will be aimed at the Martin Pipe Conditional race at the Cheltenham Festival. The son of Getaway was purchased by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd at Tattersalls Ireland February Sales in 2015 for €26,000 from Bishopstown Stud.
