Rum Runner got proceedings off to a good start at Sandown on Saturday in the Randox Handicap for his owner Michael Geoghegan, trainer Richard Hannon and jockey Pat Dobbs. Back to the scene of his last victory he travelled well throughout under Pat Dobbs to win decisively by one and a quarter lengths. He looks to be going from strength to strength and is an exciting horse for connections. Rum Runner was purchased at Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sales in 2016 for €50,000 from Ballyhimikin Stud.
